Terms and Conditions
This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of 'Signature Tools also known as Top Class Gears' (Sigtools hereafter) Web Store Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
When you access this site (www.sigtools.co.nz, www.topclassgears.com) and/or place an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.
2. Terms of Trade
This website is owned and operated by Sigtools and is located in New Zealand. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
3. Website Content and Accuracy
Products may be added to or removed from the website from time to time.
While we make every effort to keep information accurate, we do not accept liability for any loss arising from errors or omissions. In the event of an obvious pricing mistake or specification error, Sigtools reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
4. Pricing and Payment

All prices on the website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.

International prices in other currencies are set GST-exclusive. It is your responsibility to ensure you choose the correct currency.

Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you will pay. Payment must be made by the methods available on the website.

Sigtools does not collect or store any credit card information.
5. Shipping and Delivery
All shipping and delivery terms, including timeframes, responsibilities, liability for theft/loss after delivery, international orders (including customs fees), and surcharges for high-risk zones, are governed by our separate [Shipping Policy].
By purchasing from this site, you agree to all terms set out in our Shipping Policy.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Customer (Prior to Dispatch):
Orders cancelled by the Customer prior to dispatch will incur an administration fee of 4% of the total order value. This fee is retained to cover non-refundable merchant transaction fees and administrative costs. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method.
After Dispatch:
Once a shipping confirmation email has been sent, the order is considered dispatched. From this point, orders cannot be cancelled and must be treated as a return in accordance with our Return Policy.
7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Our entire returns process is governed by our separate [Return and Exchange Policy].
This policy outlines:

The strict 14-day limit for 'Change of Mind' returns and exchanges.

The conditions for eligible returns (unused, 'Off-The-Shelf' condition).

The terms for exchanges (100% value) vs. refunds (15% restocking fee).

The strict rejection of returns for any items that show signs of use.

The process for handling faulty items under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).

8. Warranties
Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act.
Our warranties cover manufacturing defects. Please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from:

Accidental damage, improper use, or mistreatment.

Products bought for use by a hire company.
For any warranty claim, first please fill out Warranty Claims Form and contact us afterwards at WARRANTY@SIGTOOLS.CO.NZ. Warranty does not cover indirect or consequential damage.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sigtools is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site.

Sigtools reserves the right to change these policies at any time without notice. Any changes will be published here.
